Tāne-nui-a-Rangi marae is located in Nūhaka. Its principal hapū is Rakaipaaka of Ngāti Kahungunu iwi.
The wharenui is also called Tāne-nui-a-Rangi. The marae connects ancestrally to the waka Takitimu and the awa Nūhaka.
