Te Poho o Te Rehu marae, also known just as Te Rehu, is located north of Nūhaka. Its principal hapū is Rakaipaaka of Ngāti Kahungunu iwi.
The wharenui is also called Te Poho o Te Rehu. The marae connects ancestrally to the waka Takitimu, the maunga Moumoukai and the awa Waitirohia.
