Te Rau Aroha Marae, located in Bluff, is New Zealand's southernmost marae.
Originally the marae was established in the late 1800s as a hostel for local Māori who lived on islands off the Southland coast. The modern marae was developed in 1985. The wharenui, Tahu-pōtiki, which takes its name from the ancestor (tupuna) of Ngāi Tahu, was opened in February 2003.
Te Rau Aroha connects ancestrally to the waka Takitimu and Uruao.
