Te Kotahitanga marae is a papakainga, situated off the Tuakau Bridge–Port Waikato Road in Te Kōhanga alongside the Waikato River. The principal hapu is Ngāti Tiipa of the Waikato-Tainui confederation.
The wharenui shares the name Te Kotahitanga and the wharekai is named Kawiti. Tikirahi connects to the nearby papakāinga Kakinga, the maunga Te Puke o Tahinga and to the Waikato River.
